D-4 (Language Trainee) Visa

Overview

To study at the Korean Language Center, you must apply for a D-4 visa at the Korean Embassy or Consulate in your home country using the Certificate of Admission (CoA) issued by our center.

  • Processing Time: Generally takes about one month.
  • Validity: Usually valid for 6 months.
  • Visa Extension: If you wish to continue your studies after your visa expires, you must register for the next semester, obtain a Certificate of Enrollment, and apply for an extension.
Required Documents for D-4 Visa
  • Valid Passport (Copy of passport for visa issuance application)
  • Application for Visa Issuance
  • One Passport-sized Photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm, white background)
  • Standard Certificate of Admission (CoA)
  • Tuition Payment Receipt
  • Copy of the University's Business License
  • Diploma (Graduation Certificate) or Certificate of Enrollment from your last school
  • Financial Statement: Proof of funds (official bank statement, remittance, or exchange receipt) showing a balance of at least $10,000 USD (or the current required amount).

Important: Financial requirements are subject to change by the Korean government. We strongly recommend verifying the latest required amount with the Korean Embassy or Consulate in your country before submitting your application.

Required Documents for D-4 Visa Extension

Students must extend their visa before the current expiration date.

  • Application Form (Available at the Immigration Office)
  • A copy of passport
  • Alien Residence Card (ARC)
  • Certificate of Enrollment
  • Tuition Payment Receipt (for the upcoming semester)
  • Proof of Residency: (e.g., Housing Contract or Certificate of Residence)
  • Application Fee: 60,000 KRW
