Residency & Reporting
Mandatory Alien Registration (ARC)
All international students entering Korea for the first time must apply for an Alien Residence Card (ARC) within 90 days of their arrival.
To assist with this legal requirement, the university organizes a group visit to the Donghae Immigration Office.
Important Reminders:
- In-Person Attendance: Because fingerprinting is required by law, you must join the school group visit to the Donghae Office.
- Transportation: The university will coordinate transportation for all participating students.
Required Documents
- Application form
- Passport
- Certificate of enrollment
- Passport size photo (3cm X 4cm)
- Certificate of residence confirmation
- Dormitory Residents: "Certificate of Residence" directly from the dormitory office.
- Off-Campus Residents: Copy of a Housing Lease Agreement (housing contract)
- Application fee (35,000won)
Change of Residence Report
If you move to a new address, you must report the change within 14 days of the move-in date stated on your rental contract.
- Penalty: Failure to report within 14 days will result in a fine. It can be up to 1,000,000KRW.
- Where to Report: Visit the Immigration Office or the Local Community Service Center (Dong-office) nearest to your new residence.
- How to Apply: The required application form (Integrated Form) is available at the office. You can fill it out on-site.
