KNU Cultural Center
The KNU Cultural Center is Kangwon National University’s global cultural platform, established to promote Korean language education, traditional Korean culture, and K-Culture around the world. It currently operates through 20 partner institutions in 19 cities across 12 countries in Asia and Europe. Through a wide range of cultural events and educational activities, the Center serves as an important channel for communication, exchange, and engagement with the global community.

KNU Korean Speech Contest
The KNU Korean Speech Contest is an international event hosted by the KNU Cultural Center. Held in various countries, the contest aims to highlight the importance of Korean language education and encourage continued learning.
Participants showcase their Korean speaking skills while naturally engaging with the Korean language and culture. Through this contest, Kangwon National University seeks to discover talented individuals, promote cultural exchange, increase global interest in the Korean language, strengthen the university’s global visibility, and expand its outreach to prospective international students.
The event also contributes meaningfully to expanding Kangwon National University’s global network and supporting the worldwide spread of the Korean language and Korean culture.
