- Required medical treatment for a personal illness.
- Urgent family matters (e.g., the passing of a parent or spouse).
- Unauthorized Absence: Any unauthorized absence exceeding 10 consecutive days will result in the student being reported to the Immigration Office as an illegal resident, followed by a deportation order.
Expulsion & Disciplinary Action
A student may be expelled (dismissed) and their visa canceled if they fall under any of the following categories:
- Violation of university or institute regulations.
- Cheating on exams or intentional disruption of classes/exams.
- Failing the course three times during the regular curriculum (Sponsors/guardians are notified upon the first failure).
- Engaging in activities inconsistent with student status or violating South Korean law.

- Inability to continue studies due to illness or other unavoidable reasons.

General Policies
- Part-time Jobs: Students are strictly prohibited from working within the first 6 months of arrival in Korea. After 6 months, students may seek part-time work only within the hours and locations permitted by Korean Immigration Law.
- Transfer Restrictions: Students are not permitted to transfer to other educational institutions during the semester once classes have officially started.
- Final Review: Any decision regarding failure, registration restrictions, or expulsion will be finalized after a formal review by the faculty committee.
