  • Graduated Kangwon National University: Graduated a bachelor or master course of Kangwon National University
  • Sister Universities: Universities which have entered into agreement as of the announcement date of the successful candidates
  • KNU International Language Institute: Students who have studied a total of 6 months or more at the KNU International Language Institute and hold an attendance rate of 80% or above for all semesters
※ The departments for only international students (bilingual programs) are excluded from scholarships. However, scholarships according to TOPIK, IELTS (English language track), TOEFL (English language track) grades that apply to 'General university student' of the above payment criteria may be paid.

Qualification Enrolled Graduate students who took 6 credits or more in the previous semester and earned a GPA of 3.5 or above; or whose GPA for all semester is 4.0 or above and whose total credits taken is at least 80% of total credits needed for graduation

Others
  • Students in bilingual programs (Global Convergence) are excluded from this scholarship. However, those who meet the language requirements below are eligible for scholarship benefits.
  • Chinese language track: TOPIK level 4 or above
  • English language track: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 94
  • Selection will be made strictly within the scholarship budget. If the number of eligible students exceeds the available budget, students with the lowest GPAs may not receive the scholarship even if they meet all other eligibility criteria.
